What You’ll Learn

A glass-topped table with a stone base, an open book, and a decorative metallic sphere, with a background of a tree and paneled wall.

Module 1: The Foundation

Most stylists are fully booked and still underpaid - not because they lack talent, but because they have a positioning problem, not a pricing problem. In this module you will understand exactly why your current pricing is working against you, and what has to change before you can charge more.

A woman sitting on the floor at a round white table, looking at a laptop, holding her glasses in one hand, with a woven ottoman and shoes on the floor nearby.

Module 2: The Business Behind Your Pricing

Before you can set a price, you need to understand what your business actually needs to generate - and why income and revenue are not the same thing. You will learn how to calculate your real minimum hourly rate based on your costs, your commission structure, and your income goal.

A person seated on a wooden chair, reading a magazine that covers their face, in front of a white curtain. The person is dressed in beige pants and a white top, with their legs crossed. There are magazines and papers on the floor and on a small stand next to the person.

Module 3: Building Your Service Structure

A premium menu is not about giving clients more options - it is about giving them clarity. You will learn how to structure your blonde services around outcomes instead of techniques, so clients stop booking wrong and start trusting you to decide.

Now you have the numbers and the menu - this is where you turn them into real prices. You will learn the baseline formula and the premium multiplier model, so you can move step by step from undercharging to pricing that actually reflects your skill, your positioning, and your results..

Module 4: Pricing Your Services

A magazine with a woman holding a large flower, a glass terrarium with green plants, a white laptop keyboard, a coffee cup with foam, a gold paper clip, a gold pen, and some stationery items on a white desk.

Module 5: Communicating Your Prices

The biggest mistake most stylists make is trying to sell in the chair - by then, it is already too late. You will learn how to use your website, social media, and service descriptions to pre-qualify the right clients, so that by the time they book, the price is expected, not questioned.

Catharina selin

Founder & CEO

Catharina Selin is a Norwegian blonde specialist and master colorist with over 18 years behind the chair. She started as a hairstylist in 2008, became an educator in 2012, and have worked as a Brand Manager at one of Scandinavia's largest salon groups before making the decision that changed everything: in 2019, she left it all behind and niched entirely into blonde hair.

In 2022 she launched Blonde by Catharina and began travelling to hold her signature blonde masterclasses. Over the course of her career she has taught thousands of hairdressers and personally coached more than 500 in strategy, operations, and business - helping them work smarter, not harder.

In 2024 she founded BLONDE Akademiet - a membership for Scandinavian hairstylists covering blonde technique, business, branding, and mindset. That same year, she opened BLONDE Studio Oslo, Scandinavia's first salon dedicated exclusively to blonde hair, home to a team of ten of Norway's leading blonde specialists, and always with a waiting list. The studio now hosts the Scandinavian Blonde Masterclass twice a year, with stylists travelling from across the country to attend.

In 2024 she was named Influenser of the year at "NFVB's Årets Frisør" -Norway's most recognised professional hairstyling award. She is the Norwegian Ambassador for Schwarzkopf Professional and BlondMe, and in September 2026 she will be speaking and hosting a Global hairshow at HairExperience by Schwarzkopf in Riga.

Catharina teaches pricing not from theory, but from having built a real business that charges real premium prices. She knows what it feels like to undercharge, and she knows exactly what had to change. This course is the framework she wishes she had been given at the start.
